Country Rose

Country Rose

Country Rose is actually the first work in which I experimented with making my signature a more integral part of the design – in fact, this artwork was signed twice!  In creating Country Rose, I was expressing my love of flowers – and in particular roses and tulips. Ever since I was a little girl, one of my favorite color combinations was red and pink – when I was six I used to wear a read knit pleated skirt with a hot pink sweater – I thought it was the most beautiful color combination!
