I painted Spa Day because I was wishing for a day of pampering relaxation and didn’t have time! I wanted Spa Day to bring the viewer to a retreat of luxurious relaxation, the ultimate “Spa Day.” What I especially like about Spa Day are the soft colors and the lovely lady standing in the background of the picture – a nod to the goddess in all women. I tried to capture the luxurious robes that spas provide, and the luscious cushy chairs.
