“Hummingbird Memories” was originally created to be transformed into a commissioned silk scarf, in 2008. I first created the original artwork with the elements requested by my client – something that blended hummingbirds, apple orchards, a row boat, a barn and even hidden mixing spoons. While I retained the original artwork, the client received a lovely scarf to give to a valued friend. The more you look at this piece, the more you will see.
