Waiter at the Champs Elysees

Waiter at the Champs Elysees
This lovely artwork was inspired by the famous people-watching, café-lovers paradise along the Champs Elysees in Paris, France.  I wanted to achieve the effect of  dappled light on the walkways as the café patrons enjoy watching the people strolling past, while the cafe waiter has his own unique vantage point.   With respect to the waiter, I tried to capture the attitude of the waiter with his inscrutable yet superior demeanor.
